About Author:
I’m Raymond Hairston, an author from Northern California, where I was born and still live today. I served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Nimitz during the First Gulf War as part of Desert Shield, an experience that gave me a unique perspective on life, conflict, and resilience. After my military service, I studied at Modesto Junior College and went on to work in a variety of fields. Some of my most rewarding experiences, outside of writing, came from my time in the hotel industry, where I worked as both a Director of Sales and a General Manager.
I first began writing many years ago while living in Livorno, Italy, where the idea for my fictional world started to take shape. When my wife became disabled, I found myself spending more time at home, which gave me the opportunity to return to writing. I’ve recently finished my debut novel, set in the world of 500A.H. (After Holocaust), and I’m already working on the second and third books in the series. Writing has become my passion, and I’m excited to continue developing this world and sharing these stories with readers.
